Yes, indeed it is hot, but it could be worse. We could be in Arizona right now complaining about the 110 degree weather. So I say, were a little okay. The weather channels says that there are chances of rain tomorrow, and I'm holding them to that.

But to tell you the truth, I trust my dog over the people who call themselves certified meteorologists. It's an official way of saying, "I'm really just guessing about the weather folks -- so don't fire me if I get the forecast wrong..." When it comes to my dog however, if I walked him and he stayed off the grass a couple of days before a huge thunderstorm is about to start -- then you can bet there will be some rainy skies ahead. When he nonchalantly just trots around in the grass, you won't be expecting any rain anytime soon. It's weird that my border collie hates the rain since it's a kind of dog breed that was bred in Scotland, where mist showery days are quite common.

Maybe this explains why he was a rescue, he was "fired"  from sheepherding or being such a rain wimp. It works great out for me anyway.  If the weather station hired his services, they wouldn't have to rely on the probability results that some meteorologist will give you off of some satellite feed. Heck you and I know it, there are a lot of times when your local TV station can't even tell you correctly when the current weather is outside. "That's right folks, it's a clear blue Monday today!" Meanwhile, it's pouring rain outside.

Go figure. Get these darn guys out of the dungeon and give them a window! At least they won't sound so silly too often.
